Tarfaya is a coastal city in the El Aaiún-Saguía el-Hamra region, known for its beautiful landscapes and places of interest.

It is located on the Atlantic coast, a few kilometers south of Cape Juby. This city, popular with tourists looking to enjoy the beach and sun, also has a large saltwater lagoon called Tah Sebkh Tazra, near the former border of Spanish Sahara.

In addition to its historic lighthouse, one of the oldest in Morocco, the city also has important museums such as the Antoine de Saint-Exupéry and Aéropostale Museum and the Resistance Museum, which commemorates the decolonization of Western Sahara in 1975.

Finally, Tarfaya is home to the Khenifiss Natural Park, which is a popular spot for nature lovers. The park offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and is home to a wide variety of wildlife.
