Located at the foot of Mount Ayachi, in the High Atlas Mountains and the plains of the Middle Atlas, Midelt boasts a splendid landscape and mountains that are as rich for the eyes as they are for business.

Recognized as the capital of crystals, its soils contain a wide variety of riches such as vanadine, barite, cerussite, quartz, aragonite, malachite, azurite, tourmaline (…) as well as minerals such as lead and zinc.

Its nearby mines were once one of the most important lead deposits in Morocco, allowing for particularly rapid development (it was the first place to receive electricity) as well as a unique history and culture.
